Toyota acclaims Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo’s global initiatives

Ebrahim K. Kanoo has been recognised by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) for its outstanding automotive training initiatives for Toyota in Bahrain.
 
Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo has supported in rolling out two of TMC’s most important recent training and development programmes, namely, the ‘Team GP’ pilot implementation project and a ‘Training Evaluation and Data Visualisation’ project pilot programme’. The ‘TEAM GP-G4’ (Toyota Education & Management System – Global Program) aims to set the future direction for the service technicians in the company, moving from traditional technician training techniques to more modern and relevant learning techniques, including online and mobile learning. The ‘Training Evaluation and Data Visualisation’ project will create a model to evaluate the effectiveness of technical training and link it to business results and KPIs.
 
TMC’s Bahrain Regional Office (BRO) met with Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Chairman Mohammed Ebrahim Kanoo, Managing Director Talal Fuad Kanoo, Chief Executive Officer Mike Brightmore and Head of Talent Management Dr John Mathew to present the certificate of appreciation on behalf of TMC Japan. Additionally, a special certification was presented to the company, which allows it to conduct all relevant Toyota Aftersales Service programmes in the Training Centre due to the high standards of business excellence shown in both customer satisfaction and exemplary aftersales services.
 
The kingdom’s leading automotive care company made significant strides in the past decade to teach and share its knowledge to build local skillsets. Multiple training programs have been launched with external private and public sector academic institutions, going as far as to create an entirely new automotive curriculum for public schools to teach those interested in learning about automotive engineering and mechanics. -- TradeArabia News Service
