Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in Bahrain, said construction work has begun on the infrastructure of one of its exclusive residential communities, Al Qamra and will be completed by May 2018.
Al Qamra is a true manifestation of the diversity in the residential offerings that Diyar Al Muharraq encompasses in its master-plan. The residential community boasts 131 freehold residential plots tailored for affordable mid-range housing units along with dedicated retail and recreational areas.
It is located in the heart of Diyar Al Muharraq, within walking distance from Dragon City and the waterfront development Marassi Al Bahrain, which features one of the master planned development’s largest beaches.
The project also offers scenic landscaping, dedicated retail and recreational spaces, ample greenery and access to communal facilities, which make it an attractive choice for those aspiring to experience community living, said a statement from the developer.
In line with the company’s efforts to expedite the construction of its developments, the project will undergo an 8 month programme which will culminate in the completion of its infrastructure work in May 2018, it stated.
All the infrastructure work is to be undertaken by Hafeera Contracting at a cost of BD4.14 million ($10.8 million), the statement added.
Diyar Al Muharraq CEO Dr Maher Al Shaer said: "Since Al Qamra caters to both locals and expatriates in search of residential and investment freehold plots in one of the most lucrative areas in the kingdom, it gives me great pleasure to announce that construction work on the infrastructure of one of Diyar Al Muharraq’s most prominent real estate development projects has now officially started."
"The success of Al Qamra is attributed to a number of key factors – ideal location, freehold access, variety of land sizes and sufficient communal facilities, all enveloped in a vision of harmonious living; therefore, we look forward to exerting our best efforts in facilitating the infrastructure work in order to finalize its development ahead of its expected timeframe of completion," he noted.
"However, plot owners are invited to begin construction at any time after completing their required procedures," he added.
Diyar Al Muharraq witnessed tremendous response to its freehold development concept, Al Qamra, with over 90 per cent of available plots sold since the project was officially opened to the public and sales for the first phase of Al Qamra started in June 2016.
Further to the successful sale of the first phase, Diyar Al Muharraq launched the second and final phase of the freehold residential plots in November 2016.
The first phase of Al Qamra launched 77 freehold residential plots ranging from 300 to 700 sq m, enabling flexibility in sizes to cater to the varying housing needs.
The second and final phase of the project launched 54 freehold residential plots ranging from 300 to 550 sq m.
Diyar Al Muharraq is a unique master planned city for the people of Bahrain offering range of housing options and quality lifestyle. It offers a cohesive mix of residential and commercial properties with a strong lineup of projects aimed at creating a long term and sophisticated township.-TradeArabia News Service
