Asry wins two awards for Human Resources Development

The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (Asry) has recently won two awards for Human Resources Development from the HRM Summit Awards 2023. 
 
The awarding ceremony was held in Bahrain, under the patronage of Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Minister of Labour. The Excellency in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award was received by the Asry HR Division, whereas the HR Manager of the Year Award was accorded to Asry HR Manager, Hanan Ahmed Alali. 
 
Result of efforts
These awards are a result of the efforts made by the company to support, develop, and empower its human resources, and attest to the competency and professionalism of the HR team. These two awards were received on behalf of the company by the Support Services General Manager & the Human Resources Senior Manger Duaij bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and Al-Ali. 
 
Asry Managing Director, Mazen Matar, said: “Being acknowledged by one of the most prominent HR organisations in the region is a remarkable achievement that we take pride in. This award is a testament to our commitment to an effective strategy that reflected positively on the company’s practices and allowed Asry to reach new horizons in supporting and advancing its workforce.”
