Bahrain starts distribution of 5,000 housing plots in Sitra

Bahrain's Housing Ministry has announced the distribution of 5,000 residential plots to the beneficiaries of the Sitra Project.
Announcing this yesterday (December 30), Housing Minister Bassem bin Yacob Al Hamer said this came as per the directives of HH Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
"Sitra project is one of the main tributaries of the ministry’s program of the High Royal Order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to build 40,000 housing units," stated Al Hamer.
In addition to these plots, we are working to build a mosque, a park and open spaces, as well as retail outlets, he added.
