Diyar Al Muharraq completes highway landscaping work

Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the largest real estate developers in Bahrain, has announced the completion of the first phase of highway landscaping which included extensive landscaped and park areas as part of its masterplan, to create a healthy lifestyle.

This comes in line with Bahrain leadership’s efforts to developing an agricultural environment and green areas around the kingdom.
 
Following the completion of Phase One of the project, residents and visitors would get to enjoy a clean and healthy outdoor environment as the weather improves.

This initial phase includes, in addition to the landscaping, the installation of benches, and waste collection bins. It also includes a fully automated irrigation system, which preserves the green areas while eliminating the need for manual labor. The automated irrigated system can be programmed to operate anytime and only when required, as to improve the efficiency of water usage, said the developer.
 
Diyar Al Muharraq’s masterplan was designed to reduce both energy consumption and carbon emissions, while promoting the concept of sustainability by taking into account the three key elements, social, economic, and environmental, it stated.
