Gulf Air names new country manager for Dubai

Gulf Air has appointed Esam Abdulhameed Al Hammadi as the country manager for its Dubai station.

With a vast experience in airline sales and having managed Gulf Air’s hub station in Bahrain, Al Hammadi will transfer his years of knowledge and practice to manage one of the airline’s main stations, Dubai.

The airline operates multiple flights to and from Dubai on a daily basis and has a solid customer base in the UAE. With this appointment, Al Hammadi will take on the challenge of further strengthening Gulf Air’s growth in the UAE.

Al Hammadi has been part of the Gulf Air family for eight years, during which he was the country manager for Bahrain, the hub of Gulf Air.

“This is a great challenge for me as I move from the hub of Gulf Air to one of its most successful and revenue generating stations – Dubai. Although Bahrain and Dubai markets have similarities in terms of customer behaviour and travel patterns, I am sure there will be so much to learn,” Al Hammadi said.

“Gulf Air has been a big part of my life and I will continue to serve our airline from a different geographical location aiming to promote Bahrain and Gulf Air to a wider audience,” he added. - TradeArabia News Service
