Seef Properties, a leading real estate development company in Bahrain, recently launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign in collaboration with the Royal Charity Organization (RCO); treating several orphans aged 5 – 12 to a day out at Seef Mall.

The social initiative aimed to provide a positive experience to orphans and encapsulate the spirit of Eid, a day of gratitude and joy.

The CSR initiative aimed to create a positive and memorable experience for the children to enjoy a day out at the Mall. In typical Eid tradition, the children were given toys and new Eid outfits which were selected from various outlets at Seef Mall. The chief executive officer of Seef Properties, Ahmed Yusuf, also handed out “Eidiyas” to all the children.

Commenting on the occasion, Yusuf said: "It gives us great pleasure to launch this initiative to draw smiles on the faces of orphans and offer much-needed goodwill and support to those in need. Our deepest gratitude goes out to our loyal staff from Seef Properties, who volunteered their time and gave their sincere efforts to create a positive experience and sense of belonging to these kids, on a day that is traditionally spent surrounded by our loved ones, family and friends to celebrate the spirit of Eid.”

“It was truly our pleasure to host this event, the resilience of kids and how they view the world never ceases to amaze me; their plight is a daily reminder that we must always count our blessings and do our best to give back to the community. We simply wanted to do our small part to make the first day of Eid a happy occasion for these wonderful kids,” he added.

This comes on the heels of the ‘Seef Al Khair Ghabga’ where Seef properties donated to a total of 37 charities - part of Seef Properties’ CSR strategy to elevate local communities in the kingdom as well as support underprivileged segments of local society by continuously hosting social activities and donating to various non-profit organisations and NGOs throughout the year. - TradeArabia News Service
